Green and White Loose Leaf Teas

Few things come close to the simplicity and serenity to be found in a cup of Loose Leaf green tea or Loose Leaf white tea.  Calling us back to what matters most, these teas invite us to find peace, perspective, and healing in the midst of our crazy lives.  What sets green and white teas apart is that they have not been fermented; they are as close as you can get to the taste of the freshly picked leaf. 

All the teas in this section are very versatile, and can be enjoyed both hot and iced, depending on the occasion (or weather)!  Though green and white teas originated in China, they have become very popular and are now being grown all over the world. We've found some really special ones--and think you will love them too!

Green Peace

The Moroccans liked to blend green tea with mint, and we couldn't agree more wholeheartedly! Refreshing and calming, Green Peace is an inspired blend of extraordinary green tea and spearmint leaf. It can be enjoyed by itself or with food, and simply must be tried iced!

Wonderfully green. Alive and full-flavored with exquisite floral notes. Hints of smoke and chocolate. Fantastic iced! The plucking of this hand-formed tea only happens before dawn, when the misty dew covers the leaves, adding to its exceptional flavor.

Emperor’s Brew White Tea 

The choice of emperors, the rarest of teas.  Emperor's Brew is a Pai Mu Tan style white tea. It is very light with a mildly sweet nuttiness, and is great any time of the day. Only the bud and a couple of delicate light green leaves are plucked. If you look closely, you can see the beautiful "peach fuzz."
